Rugby Australia (Rugby AU), the governing body of Rugby Union in Australia, is looking for an Assistant Coach – National Women’s Sevens, who can:

• Assist the Head Coach.
• Advance Australian Rugby by consistently by assisting to build a high-performance team aligned to the National High-Performance Strategy.
• Assist in ensuring the National Sevens team are a successful and winning team true to their identity and true to the values of Australian Rugby.
• Contribute strongly to the broader development of the game in Australia and internationally.
• Assist in aligning the performance requirements across both Sevens and XV training to maximize cross fertilization between the two versions of the game.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist the Head Coach in the coaching and management of the National Sevens team and coordination of the National Sevens program
• Support the Head Coach in planning/designing the National Sevens program yearly schedule in consultation with appropriate HP staff
• Assist the Head Coach I am planning/designing Sevens Squad selection process in line with program objectives and philosophy and in conjunction with HP and Provincial staff
