Assistant Director of Marketing - UCLA Intercollegiate Athletics
The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Director of Marketing. This is a career, full-time position with a targeted salary of $55,200.00/year with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director, Marketing, the Assistant Director of Marketing will be involved in the department's marketing efforts by handling the marketing, sales, promotion, and advertising for an individual sport or sports and special events surrounding UCLA athletic events.
All applicants should demonstrate the following abilities and requirements: Two years of experience working in college athletics, professional sports, or marketing/communications field; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Demonstrated skills in conceptualization, development, implementation and review of multi-dimensional corporate and marketing, sales, and promotional programs; Ability to supervise UCLA staff members, student work force and a diverse group of volunteers; Ability to establish or analyze and improve current cooperative working relationships with donors, ticket holders, University faculty, staff and students and members for the general public and corporate contacts; Demonstrated creative abilities in generating innovative ideas and exploring alternative approaches and solutions to problems
