The Associate Basketball Analyst - Coaching, Basketball Data Strategy occupies a dual role between the Basketball Data Strategy group and the Lakers coaching staff. Primarily responsible for supporting the lead Basketball Analyst – Coaching, this role serves as a liaison and resource for the coaching and player development staff. Under the direction of the lead Analyst, the Associate Analyst will provide statistics, reports, and key points of emphasis to support game preparation and in-game decision making. In addition, this individual will support player development via goal-setting, facilitating regular check-ins, and evaluating performance across games and practice for both the NBA and G League teams. This position operates at the pace of the NBA season, requiring consistent availability to meet the day-to-day information needs of the staff, attending every home game and practice, and producing nightly reports. Travel may periodically be required.
