We currently have a position available for a full-time Damper Technician in Indianapolis to prepare and provide quality control of mechanical components of race car dampers for race and test events and may also participate in pit stops.
Duties and Responsibilities
o   Build damper components according to established procedures for each race and test event.
o   Disassemble, clean and perform non-destructive testing of damper components.
o   Prepare manufactured precision parts for dampers.
o   Operate the damper dynamometer and  review and save data.
o   Select pistons and valve combinations to build dampers that meet performance specification.
o   Meet specified deadlines for preparing dampers during race car preparation.
o   Load the dampers, alternate dampers, parts and necessary equipment on the transporters.
