The overall purpose of this role is to support the Safeguarding Manager in promoting a safeguarding culture within cricket.   The role holder’s primary responsibilities are:

To undertake the investigation and management of safeguarding concerns and allegations across cricket in England and Wales including
Respond to and make enquiries into concerns, allegations and disclosures,  from internal and external sources, including information obtained through the ECB vetting procedures
Management of caseload volume – identify investigation strands and obtain the evidence required and available to assist decision making
To oversee the effective communication of safeguarding decisions to those that need to know using recognised disclosure protocols
To manage the oversight of those individuals who have had restrictions placed on their participation in cricket
