Sport Resolutions, the premier arbitrator and mediator of disputes in sport, is seeking to appoint an imaginative and inspirational Marketing, Communications and Service Development Manager with the skills and experience to develop and grow the products, services, events, reputation and profile of the organisation.
The successful candidate will have the experience, skills, personality and drive to lead on Sport Resolutions’ influencing and communications strategy, to develop and grow Sport Resolutions’ annual conference, training and accreditation services, to act as lead executive to the Board’s Marketing and Service Development Committee, to develop and implement the existing marketing and service development plan and to assist the management team with the core services and product development processes.
The successful candidate is likely to have worked in a similar position for at least three years and will have a qualification with a significant marketing component, as well as excellent communication, written and numeracy skills.
Sport Resolutions hosts a flagship annual conference, a rolling seminar programme and works with higher education institutions to educate the next generation of leaders in sport. Our online database gives access to case decisions and summaries and our Yearbook and other publications provides a source of sport related content to the sector. We hold the majority of our hearings and mediations in our Central London Arbitration and Mediation Centre. The role of the Marketing, Communications and Service Development Manager is to drive these initiatives forward and to develop new products and services to further expand the Sport Resolutions offering.
Sport Resolutions’ focus is on resolving issues that threaten the integrity and good governance of sport such as doping, match-fixing, corruption, abuse and neglecting the duty of care towards athletes, coaches and other participants in sport. We also operate the National Anti-Doping Panel (NADP) and National Safeguarding Panel (NSP). The Marketing Manager will extol the virtues of integrity and good governance in all that they do.
Sport Resolutions has helped to resolve more than 1000 disputes across 40 sports in the past 10 years and has saved sport in the UK more than £10 million in legal fees and administration costs.
