The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is accepting applications for the position of Student-Athlete Development Coordinator. This is a career, full-time position with a targeted annual salary range of $48,000.00 - $55,000.00, with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan. Under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Development, the incumbent will provide developmental opportunities for UCLA student-athletes, including but are not limited to career development, personal development, leadership development and community outreach as well as oversight of SAAC (Bruin Athletic Council - BAC), Student-Athlete Mentors (SAMs), Bruin Environmental Leadership Team (BELT), Female Athletes Stand Together (FAST) the Wooden Academy Legacy Program and Welcome Back Picnic. Additional responsibilities include communicating regularly with coaches, team support staff and academic advisors as well as collaborating with CAPS, Bruin Varsity Club, Athlete Network and Athletic Training & Sports Medicine. The incumbent will also be responsible for continuing and improving current student-athlete development and community outreach programs, workshops, and events and exploring the creation of new programs including tracking student-athlete needs and postgraduate outcomes.
