This position is responsible for crafting the organization’s message to the fans and media for the Citi Open. This includes writing match previews and recaps, marketing eblasts, press releases, website and more. This position will also provide support to other departments outside of the tennis seasons, including marketing, sponsorship and sales.  
 
Required Experience            
This position is 75% writing; therefore, the candidate must have significant experience (ideally 5 years or more) writing substantive articles about tennis teams, tours, tournaments or other tennis events for professional or collegiate organizations and provide writing samples to that effect. Candidate must have a proven track record of self-motivation and working independently and the ability to meet deadlines. In addition, the candidate should have a demonstrated level of success and experience with the major social media sites and fan interaction through these platforms.
