How to Save Battery Life on iPhone?

Apple is a leader phone manufacturer in the world. You can find everything you need in an Apple phone, starting with iphone call recorder app and ending with advanced fitness apps. And they use a lot of battery. So if you want to save your battery for a long time, use these recommendation:

Prevent Background App Refresh

The next way to see where an app might be getting its extra power consumption from is to check background app refresh.

Here’s how you check it:

Go to settings
Then general
You’re going to scroll down until you see background app refresh
As you can see, these applications are all able to refresh in the background. However, this doesn’t mean that they’re using a lot of your battery power. You should always cross reference this with the previous area I showed you how to check battery usage.

Let’s say you see the stocks application using a lot of battery. You just toggle the green switch off. This means that the app won’t be able to refresh in the background.

This doesn’t mean that it’s going to break the app. It just means that it’s only going to refresh when you go into the app itself instead of constantly checking on your iPhone.

Another really cool thing when you turn a couple of them off, you can toggle all background app refresh off then toggle it back on, and you’ll still get the same options that were chosen before. So that’s a really good tip if you want to save battery power.

If you see some apps that might be a battery issue, then you need to make sure location services are disabled for those various features.

Turn on ‘Do Not Disturb’

Now we’re going to get into some of the more advanced tips that are really going to make a huge impact on your battery life. So the first one is actually really simple, but it can save you a lot of battery, especially throughout the night.

So when you’re using your iPhone, sometimes you put it down screen side up. Once you get notifications it will light up and it will pop up with those notifications.

But did you know with iOS versions older than iOS 10.2.1, you can actually put your iPhone upside down (screen side down) which is going to make sure that your iPhone will not light up when you receive any notifications.

This is because it automatically knows when your iPhone is upside on a table or surface and it’s not going to light up the screen. Of course, you can get the same effect by swiping up and turning on do not disturb and potentially even turning on Airplane mode.

This is a cool feature to save battery life and you don’t have to worry about not receiving calls. You’ll still receive calls but it just means that when you get a notification, it’s not going to turn on the screen and use a little bit of your extra battery life.

I wish your phone a long life and maximum performance.
