Academy Lead Psychologist - Manchester United

The Role:
Primarily responsible for leading and delivering the Academy’s Psychology provision, this role will oversee the Academy working group that manages complex performance and wellbeing cases, while coordinating and driving the Academy’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Action Plan to support holistic player development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Heads of Function in the development, implementation, and ongoing review of the Academy strategy, ensuring alignment across all departments.
- Collaborate closely with the Academy Performance Department to contribute to the development, delivery, and evaluation of the Academy Performance strategy.
- Lead the design, delivery, and continuous evaluation of the Academy Psychology Strategy, providing effective line management, as well as professional and personal development support to academy psychologist(s).
