The Assistant Coach/Coaching Analyst will serve as a coach for the Delaware Blue Coats while providing data/analytics information to the organization.   

 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW:

• Work with and work out players who play for the Blue Coats
• Assist in scouts for upcoming G-league games
• Regularly track and report key team and player metrics; turn insights into clear adjustments
• Work with the coaching staff and R&D to design, test, and implement on-court strategy ideas

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Thorough knowledge of the game of basketball gained through a minimum of 3 - 5 years aggregate experience of coaching, scouting, or playing NCAA basketball or equivalent experience 
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are a must
• Experience using technical tools for data analysis (e.g. Python, SQL, R)
• A Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field is preferred
