Basketball England is seeking motivated graduate Sports Therapists, Sport Rehabilitators and Physiotherapists to join its bank practitioner workforce.

The role provides an opportunity for early-career practitioners to gain experience within a national governing body and performance basketball environment while supporting athlete health, availability and performance.

Practitioners will work within Basketball England's clinical governance framework, professional scope of practice and individual level of competence, with appropriate supervision and support available.

Key Responsibilities

The Bank Graduate Practitioner will:

Assess and support the management of musculoskeletal and acute sporting injuries within their scope of practice and competence.
Deliver evidence-informed treatment and progressive exercise-based rehabilitation.
Monitor athlete response to rehabilitation and basketball activity and contribute to return-to-performance processes.
Provide medical support at Basketball England training sessions, camps, tournaments and competitions as deployed.
