The College is seeking the services of a suitably qualified Basketball coaches to join the Sports Department.

Clayfield College is seeking Basketball Coaches to contribute to the School’s growing Sport Program across the following competitions:

• QGSSSA (Queensland Girls Secondary Schools Sports Association): Years 7-12 girls (commencing Term 1, 2026)
• Andrews Cup: Years 4-6 girls
• Britton Shield: Years 2-6 boys

The coach’s role is to deliver training sessions and match-day coaching that provide a safe environment for athletes while developing skills, tactical awareness, teamwork, and enjoyment of the sport.

Due to the size and diversity of the program, we welcome applications from coaches with varying levels of experience and qualifications.

Professional Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver two high-quality training sessions per week for allocated teams.
• Provide coaching at QGSSSA fixtures and other scheduled competitions.
• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and player development across all levels.
