About The Role & Who We’re Scouting

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Academy Therapist to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club on a Casual basis. As a Casual Academy Therapist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of leading-edge physiotherapy services to the Youth (YDP) and Foundation Development Phase (FDP) Programmes through the provision of therapy services on weekday evenings and weekends.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the YDP/FDP therapists by providing pitch side cover for training and games, ensuring medical notes are kept up to date and completed in line with registering body requirements and EPPP regulations. You will support the assessment, treatment and management of injured FDP & YDP players in the clinic environment, providing updates on player injury/illness status as requested by the Lead YDP/FDP Physiotherapist. You will also be required to provide ITMMiF cover in line with EPPP regulations as directed by the Lead YDP/FDP Physiotherapist.
