Reporting to the Board, the CEO will provide strategic leadership and executive management across all aspects of Hockey Queensland’s operations, culture, and performance. The role combines high-level strategy and stakeholder engagement with hands-on leadership of people, programs, facilities, and finances, ensuring the organisation is sustainable, well-governed, and positioned for long-term growth. 

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading the development and execution of the strategic plan and annual business plans.
• Driving revenue growth through sponsorship, commercial partnerships, and funding opportunities.
• Overseeing operational delivery across competitions, pathways, education, and participation initiatives.
• Strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, including integrity and safeguarding.
• Building a high-performance, values-driven culture with an engaged and capable senior leadership team.
