Job Summary
To deliver key elements of the Weightlifting Wales strategy for engaging the strength community and bringing people together. Building a strong, inclusive strength community by expanding opportunities for clubs, delivery centres and academies.
Role and Responsibilities
Support a growing network of clubs and academies to foster safe, motivating, and positive environments to increase participation from local communities.  Help new clubs establish themselves, assisting with licensing, funding and community programme development.
Strengthen club pathways, guiding licensed clubs in progressing to delivery centre or academy status.
Recognise club and academy contributions, valuing the role of clubs, academies and volunteers in raising the sport’s profile and expanding participation.  Support the development of club coaches, enhancing skills and opportunities at the grassroots level.
