What is the Swimming Leadership Group?

As part of the Swim England governance structure, the Swimming Leadership Group reports directly into the Swim England Sport Operations Committee.  Its work focuses on managing age group swimming through policy development across Swim England, the regions, the counties and clubs. It also leads on the development of swimming technical officials.

The Group is comprised of six volunteer members who are currently active in the sport.  They include a national meet director, senior technical officials and an active coach from a large club.

In order to expand the skills and experience of the group and recognising the importance of the coaching community, the Group is seeking to recruit an additional Coaching representative on a voluntary basis.
