The Community Affairs Coordinator is responsible for driving game attendance through community outreach and execution of community affairs programs. The candidate hired can expect to:
- Plan, develop, and/or implement community impact programs to drive attendance, fulfill partnerships, and support the mission of the SeaWolves Community Fund. Programs include, but are not limited to, C. Wolf’s Reading Club, C. Wolf's Heathy Challenge, the Chace Numata Scholarship, Play Ball Weekend, and select Appreciation/Awareness programs (e.g., UPMC Health Plan Strike Out Cancer Weekend).
- Schedule and conduct mascot, player, and speaking appearances to generate revenue, leads, and social media content.
- Process and track donation requests and route potential leads to applicable departments.
- Coordinate fundraising initiatives for the SeaWolves Community Fund and Chace Numata Scholarship.
- Manage and control budgeted expenses for areas of responsibility (e.g., autograph cards, promotional booth assets, appearance fees, and supplies).
- Positively contribute to a culture consistent with At Bat Group's core values and commitment to the Erie community.
