An exciting opportunity to join Active Dorset and lead our CIO facilities in Weymouth as the new c.£3 million investment opens for use, to work alongside others to build on the existing successes in transforming spaces for communities to be active.

You will build open and honest relationships with a range of people and organisations who share the same values, motivations and desire to affect change to help achieve the goals of Active Dorset and the Our Dorset Movement for Movement strategy.

The role is responsible for leading the work, staff and volunteers at our facilities in Weymouth and Bournemouth, to connect, collaborate, influence and create a culture where everyone can be active.

We are looking for a passionate leader with experience of developing positive relationships with people at all levels. You will have experience in developing and managing teams, setting strategy, managing budgets and working collaboratively to develop and/or deliver a shared purpose.
