The Controller is a key financial leader responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance functions for the Hillsboro Hops. This includes financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, payroll, internal controls, and compliance with all regulatory and league requirements. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic insight and hands-on experience to support the organization’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance Operations

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.
• Manage all aspects of the month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) by GAAP.
• Ensure proper accounting for all revenue and expense transactions across business lines (tickets, sponsorship, concessions, merchandise).
• Oversee capital expenditure accounting and reporting.
