The Wilmington Blue Rocks seek a passionate and hardworking individual to serve as our Director of Corporate Partnerships. This person will be a senior-level contributor responsible for driving new revenue through the sale of corporate partnerships.

This role is focused on identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, including signage, media, digital, experiential, and event-based platforms. This person should be an outgoing, energetic and creative sales professional; a self-starter with a strong sales history and a proven track record of revenue generation and relationship-building at a high level. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and cultivate new corporate partnership opportunities 
• Lead all aspects of the sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing
• Collaborate internally to develop new innovative partnership and activation concepts
• Exhibit professionalism and strategic insight in external meetings and events
