
Director - Randwick District Rugby Union Football Club
The Director of Rugby at Randwick DRUFC is a fulltime/contract role and is responsible for the overall recruitment, development, management, athletic performance and pastoral care of players and coaches at the Club. The role will cover the preparation for and execution of the 2026 and 2027 rugby seasons.
Aside from elite coaching support, the role’s primary focus is to develop the plan for the club’s rugby program and ensure there is a co-ordinated approach throughout all levels of the club in executing it. The overall administration of our Colts program and key pathway activities, including women's rugby, is also an important responsibility of the position.
This role reports directly to the General Manager and will work in partnership with our fulltime First Grade Coach. The key role outcomes are as follows:
- Be the senior coaching resource across the club to support and motivate all teams, coaches and players as required.
- Recruitment, retention and development of quality players, coaches and related staff across our rugby program.
- Develop and grow the standards of our high performance program and athletic culture.
- Day to day management of our overall Colts and Junior Pathway programs.
