Star Club are recruiting a full time Director of Rowing to work alongside the Head Junior Coach.

About the Role

As Director of Rowing you will lead and develop the club’s rowing programme, working alongside the Head Junior Coach, volunteer coaches and the Management Board. You will deliver high quality coaching across different squads including juniors, seniors and masters. Alongside these responsibilities you will oversee the planning and delivery of training programmes and camps, the management of the fleet and the expansion of the club’s school and community partnerships.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the club’s rowing programme.
• Coach junior, senior and masters athletes.
• Work alongside the Head Junior Coach to develop the junior programme.
• Lead, develop and support the volunteer coaching team.
• Develop and strengthen partnerships with schools and other organisations.
• Attend regattas, head races, training camps and other rowing events.
• Oversee the management, maintenance and development of the fleet and equipment.
• Create and promote a safe, inclusive and aspirational environment where all members can thrive.
