EOI, Volunteers / Interns - Baseball NSW
These broad, multi-disciplinary internship roles provide ongoing exposure across multiple areas of sports administration and event delivery. Interns support Baseball NSW’s events and operations teams throughout the year, contributing to game day delivery as well as communications, broadcasting, content creation, and media support across a range of programs and events.
Responsibilities may include assisting with social media and communications, capturing photo and video content, distributing event information to teams and stakeholders, supporting broadcast and media operations, and assisting with general event logistics. Interns rotate through different responsibilities based on operational needs, event schedules, and staffing priorities, ensuring diverse, hands-on experience across departments.
In addition to event-based responsibilities, interns will also gain experience in general administration. This may include database management, document preparation, stakeholder correspondence, reporting support, scheduling assistance, and contributing to internal planning processes. These tasks provide valuable insight into the governance and operational foundations that underpin successful sporting organisations.
These opportunities are well suited to individuals who are adaptable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in dynamic environments. Interns gain practical experience across both on-field and off-field operations and are encouraged to take initiative while receiving ongoing mentorship and support from experienced staff.
