
Event Manager - Football Australia
The Event Manager is to manage and support the planning and delivery of Football Australia match-days and tournaments, focusing on Club Competitions like the Australia Cup, National Second Tier, and National Youth Championships.
Lead the planning and delivery of Men’s and Women’s AFC and FIFA Club Competitions involving Football Australia Clubs. Support various stages of Club competitions and related events, including security, risk, venue standards, and general event operations. Assist in the preparation and implementation of new National Competition Products.
Support the planning and delivery of National Team matches, including the Subway Socceroos, CommBank Matildas, CommBank ParaRoos/ParaMatildas, and Junior international matches, along with open training sessions, fan days, and corporate events. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent delivery of operations across all events, aiming to create fan-focused events that enhance football's profile.
Attend weekly competition management meetings for the National Second Tier and Australia Cup, contributing to the improvement of event services and standards. Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, event contractors, and agencies. Assist senior managers in delivering other events and projects as needed
