The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting with overall maintenance and preparedness of the Miller Electric Center including assisting with maintaining all building systems. 

Job Responsibilities

• Actively monitors facility and surrounding equipment for proper function, safety, and longevity.
• Troubleshoots and repairs facilities component systems and equipment in accordance with SOP’s, internal requirements, manufacturers specifications and safety policies with maximum efficiency.
• Repairs, alters, and maintains a variety of tools and equipment.
• Painting of structures, drywall and plaster, performs masonry work, repairs plumbing fixtures and woodwork. Assembles components, repairs furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.  
• Assists higher level technicians, with access to workspace and assists with physical labor when appropriate.
