Basketball England is the National Governing Body for basketball in England. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager/Head of Finance to lead our finance function, ensuring the organisation’s long-term sustainability and supporting the growth of the game.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Executive Management Team, you will:

Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Provide clear analysis and advice to the CEO, EMT, and Board.

Manage and develop the finance team (currently one Finance Assistant).

Oversee financial reporting, controls, and compliance with statutory and funder requirements.

Lead on cashflow management, audits, and risk.

Support commercial growth, funding bids, and business development initiatives.
