
Finance Manager - The Professional Footballers Association
The PFA is currently looking for a Finance Manager to be responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely management and statutory financial accounts, ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet and underlying financial records for all funds within the Union. The role will also provide financial support to the Finance Director, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and other stakeholders as required.
Essential Skills and Requirements
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified - three years + post qualification experience
Demonstrable line management experience with the ability to support team members in achieving both personal and business objectives
Strong technical skills
Strong knowledge of a variety of financial systems
Good analytical ability
Adaptable and open to change
Approachable and low-ego personality
Proactively challenges status quo and identifies areas for improvement
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity and confidentiality
