Finance Officer - Brisbane Bullets

2 hours ago Australia
Application Deadline - 12th Jul 2026 @ 12:00 am (BST)

The books are accurate, the deadlines are met and nothing gets left sitting.

This is a new part-time role sitting in the finance team of a professional sporting club. It exists because the Club needs a reliable, detail-oriented person to own the day-to-day transactional layer - accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll data entry, reconciliations and some general office admin.

It is not a glamorous brief. But if you are someone who finds satisfaction in a clean ledger and a closed month end, it is a good one.

You will work Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 2:30pm (25 to 30 hours per week), from the Club's offices in South Brisbane.

About Us

Since 1979, the Brisbane Bullets have been part of the fabric of this city. Brisbane's oldest professional sporting club and a proud member of the National Basketball League - we're not just a basketball club. We're a community, a culture, and a genuine passion for the sport and the people who love it.

The Role

You support the GM Finance by keeping the transactional layer running accurately and on time.

Day to day, you will be:

  • Processing accounts payable - invoices matched, approved and filed correctly
  • Managing accounts receivable - invoices raised and outstanding balances followed up
  • Handling end to end payroll data each pay period and flagging anomalies before they become problems
  • Completing daily bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies promptly
