The voting members of the Board are both directors and trustees (and members) of parkrun Global, and must act within the provisions set out in the governing document. parkrun global is an incorporated charity.The Board has overall responsibility for good management and administration of the activities of the company & charity, and for ensuring appropriate use of charity's resources. The overall

role of the Board is to ensure good governance, delivery of the aims and objectives of the charity and to provide strategic leadership to determine its future direction.

The Trustee role operates at the most senior level of the organisation shaping the strategic aims, and hence the whole of the operations, of parkrun Global. The translation of strategy and policy into actions is the responsibility of the paid officers of parkrun Global, under the direction of the CEO.
