We are looking for passionate Gym Instructors to positively engage with members and provide health and fitness advice and programming. Applicants will be required to enagage and interact with participants across a diverse range of ages, abilities cultures and needs. You will create a supportive and inclusive environment where every member feels valued and engaged.

Key duties include proactive gym floor supervision to ensure the safety of staff and customers at all times, exercise prescription to a wide variety of customers and the development and delivery of fitness programs.

We are currently offering the following Temporary Part Time position until January 2027, in our fitness team:

• 15 hours per week. Monday 4pm - 9pm, Thursday 3pm - 8pm, Saturday 6.30am - 12pm

This position has been identified as a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply, you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.

You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, in order to progress through the recruitment process.
