
Head, Athletic Development - Brentwood School
Brentwood Senior School is an academically selective HMC co-educational independent school with small class sizes and a happy, ambitious and supportive staff team. It is part of Brentwood School, a 3-18 HMC school of 1900 pupils, just 35 minutes from London Liverpool Street.
We are seeking to appoint a Head of Athletic Development who will play a key role in shaping and delivering the school’s vision for athletic growth and physical literacy. This development is embedded across the curriculum through PE, Games lessons, and co-curricular opportunities. Physical literacy is introduced to all students through a dedicated unit in core PE, while our Elite Performer Programme offers Strength and Conditioning sessions to support talented athletes. This position is full-time, term time, plus 4 weeks in school holidays as directed by the line manager, which may include residential trips. The Head of Athletic Development will work most (term time) Saturdays as directed by the Director of Sport to coach teams as required across all three terms.
