Ledbury and Malvern Swimming Club (LAMSC) in Worcestershire is looking for a forward-thinking head coach to support our swimmers to take the next step in their swimming career.

LAMSC is a friendly local club in a beautiful area. Our club is so loved by the community that we still have volunteers who have been involved since the club’s inception in 1976. 

In the year we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we’re delighted to be able to welcome an enthusiastic and ambitious coach to deliver and build on our successful swimming program and coach the club’s top swimmers. 

As a SwimMark accredited club with over 100 active swimmers aged from 7 to adult, we have a rapidly growing membership of both age group and masters swimmers, with many of them achieving exceptional results at County, Regional and National level. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic coach who is qualified to at least the Coaching Swimming Level 2 Award/Swimming Coach Certificate and ideally willing to work towards (if they do not already have), their Swim England Senior Swimming Coach certificate. 

It is essential that the successful candidate will be able to motivate and inspire swimmers of all ages and abilities. The role will suit someone who has technical knowledge, enthusiasm and a natural communication style with both swimmers and parents.
