The Head of Performance Services provides strategic leadership and oversight of all performance support functions across Cricket Tasmania’s High Performance programs, including the Tasmanian Tigers, Hobart Hurricanes and Pathway teams.

Leading an interdisciplinary team of sports science, sports medicine, analytics and mental health professionals, the role ensures the delivery of integrated, evidence-based and athlete-centred services that optimise performance, prevent injury and support holistic player wellbeing.

The role is responsible for aligning performance services across the High Performance system, driving innovation, embedding data-informed decision making, and building strong partnerships with coaches, players and external stakeholders to enable sustained on-field success.

The Head of Performance Services is a trusted people leader who inspires, develops and aligns a diverse interdisciplinary team. You will create a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement, where strong relationships, clear communication and evidence-based decision making underpin team effectiveness and athlete outcomes.

You will act as a system leader, integrating performance services across Cricket Tasmania’s High Performance environment. This includes setting clear standards, governance and shared ways of working, while building strong partnerships with coaches, players, service providers and external organisations to ensure alignment, consistency and excellence across programs.

As a strategic and innovative thinker, you will shape and deliver a unified performance services strategy aligned with organisational priorities. You will demonstrate strong operational and professional judgement, managing resources, budgets and performance metrics with rigour and integrity.
