The Independent Chairperson will provide inclusive leadership to the SLB Board, ensuring that it functions effectively, develops a clear strategic direction, and holds the executive team to account. As a visible and powerful ambassador for SLB, the Chairperson will be responsible for building relationships across a wide spectrum of stakeholders and championing the growth and reputation of professional basketball.

Strategic Leadership
Ensure the organisation has a coherent, deliverable strategy that supports the long- term growth of elite, professional basketball in the UK.
Maintain oversight of progress against strategic objectives, in partnership with the COO and Board.
Board Effectiveness
Set the tone for the Board’s working style and culture; promote open dialogue, diversity of thought, and effective decision-making.
