Reporting to the GM Financial Operations, the Internal Accountant supports day-to-day accounting activities with a focus on accounts payable, reconciliations, compliance support and month-end processes. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy, consistency and strong financial controls across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice review, coding accuracy, approval workflows and payment preparation
• Supplier account maintenance and discrepancy resolution
• Support bank reconciliations, clearing accounts and balance sheet integrity
• Assist with BAS preparation, ATO compliance and supporting documentation
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records
• Support accounts receivable follow-up as required
• Work within a centralised Xero environment, ensuring consistent processes and controls
• Respond to finance-related queries from internal stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance systems and workflows
