South Croydon Swimming Club in Surrey is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Lead Squad Coach to support our Head Coach and lead a squad of approximately 24 swimmers aged 13–17, with aspirations to qualify for County and Regional competitions.

This role is ideal for a motivated coach who can support swimmer development, maintain good training standards, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and performance-aspired club environment.

The Role

As Lead Squad Coach, you will be responsible for planning and delivering quality training for your squad, supporting swimmers through their journeys, and working collaboratively with the Club’s coaching team and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate pool training sessions for your squad
• Write suitable training sets (with guidance from the Head Coach where needed)
• Provide technical feedback and skill development to all swimmers
• Support swimmers at competitions, galas, and club events
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain swimmer records as required
