Are you a passionate and experienced swimming coach ready to lead and inspire? Street and District Swimming Club in Somerset is on the lookout for a dynamic Level 2-qualified coach to take charge of our ‘Train to Compete’ squads and support the coaching team’s development as Lead Squad Coach.

Hours: 6 hours per week (Tuesday - Thursday evenings) plus cover and meets 

What You’ll Do:

• Lead technical development sessions across squads.
• Work one-on-one and with groups to refine stroke technique and race preparation.
• Create and deliver tailored training plans that focus on progression and performance.
• Provide technical feedback to swimmers and their guardians.
• Mentor fellow coaches and share your expertise with the wider coaching team.
• Prepare swimmers for galas — attending events, offering race advice, and post-race analysis.
• Work alongside our Land Training Coach to ensure a complete training package.
• Collaborate with the Head Coach to plan long-term development strategies.
