Winchester College are looking to appoint a Lead Squash Coach who will be responsible for the development and progression of the school’s squash programme, fostering a positive team environment, and promoting skill development, sportsmanship, and a love for the sport among students. The coach will plan and conduct practices, on both an individual and small group basis, as well as organising matches and tournaments.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF LEAD SQUASH COACH

The initial target should be to maintain the high number of pupils playing squash both competitively and recreationally at the school.
Oversee the delivery of high quality squash sessions to individuals and groups, including 1-to-1 sessions to sports award holders and 1st VI players.
Organise and communicate all squash sessions with pupils and relevant staff
Manage the competitive squash programme by organising and implementing squash fixtures throughout the year for boys’ and girls’ teams, ensuring transport, catering, equipment and other items are provided
