Millfield School is seeking an exceptional Lead Swim Coach to join our renowned swimming programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and performance-focused coach to play a pivotal role in the development of ranked age-group and youth swimmers, guiding them through our athlete pathway and helping them realise their full potential. The successful candidate will lead programme delivery, contribute to swimmer development planning, and inspire athletes to achieve excellence in a high-performance environment.

We are seeking a coach with a minimum UKCC Level 2 qualification (Level 3 preferred) and a proven track record of developing swimmers to at least national championship standard. Experience leading a programme, managing coaching teams, or undertaking broader programme responsibilities would be highly desirable.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of long-term athlete development principles and the Aquatics GB Optimal Athlete Development Framework. Experience coaching across complementary disciplines such as water polo and athletic development would be advantageous.

This is a year round role working 42 hours per week, typically across Monday to Saturday, with occasional Sunday work required to support fixtures, tournaments or events.
