As a Minor League Pitching Coach, you will be responsible for the development and performance of pitchers at one of the Marlins’ minor league affiliates. This role involves implementing organizational pitching philosophies, delivering daily instruction, and collaborating across departments to optimize athlete development. Curiosity, communication skills, and commitment to individual player growth are essential for success in this position.
 
Essential Functions

• Execute individualized pitching plans in alignment with organizational philosophy.
• Provide on-field instruction and feedback to pitchers during bullpens, games, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with analysts, coordinators, and performance staff to support each player’s development.
• Prepare daily reports and development summaries to track player progress and communicate with front office personnel.
• Utilize modern technology (e.g., TrackMan, Hawk-Eye, Rapsodo, Edgertronic) to monitor performance and drive development.
• Contribute to organization-wide pitching strategy, philosophy, and development plans in coordination with the Director of Pitching.
