The role of the NGA Lead & Head Coach is responsible for managing talent pathway programs to increase Father Son/Daughter, multicultural and Indignenous talent on AFL & AFLW lists. This role is also responsible for:

• Operations & Administration
• Coaching
• Talent Identification
• Strategy
• Other Development / Talent Programs

High level responsibility

• Establish appropriate NGA, FSA and FDA support staff structure and oversee appointed staff
• Complete applications (including obtaining documentation) for all draft concession eligible players as required by the AFL, and ensure AFL rules, procedures and policies are adhered to.
• Work closely with recruiting and talent pathway clubs, schools and player families (if relevant) to formulate individual development plans and goal setting plans for NGA and FSA/FDA players
