NQ is seeking applications for a Non-Executive Appointed Board Director to commence in June 2024.

Netball Queensland (NQ) is the peak state sporting organisation responsible for the governance, development, promotion and administration of netball throughout Queensland.  NQ is a membership-based organisation with a permanent workforce of 75 staff and 10 contracted professional athletes.

We operate in an increasingly complex and cluttered environment where the wave of support and engagement in women’s sport from codes traditionally dominated by men is significant. We need to work harder than ever to be the sport of choice for women and girls and put more energy into learning from others as we welcome and embrace a participation and audience base more inclusive and reflective of our society.

The incredible Nissan Arena is the home to our history-making Queensland Firebirds netball team as well as NQ's operations and delivery of community sport and major events.
