Non-Executive Board Directors - Squash Wales
Following inclusion in the Olympics for the first time, record prize money on the PSA World Tour next season, there has never been a better time to help grow and drive the success of squash in Wales.
As home to the best player in the UK, Squash Wales are on a mission to create a sustainable environment where everyone can reach their potential within all aspects of a vibrant squash community. So, whether you aspire to be the next Joel Makin, Tesni Murphy or just enjoy getting active and having fun whilst doing it, we are here to make it happen for our members.
To help us, we need two new directors with skills in Finance and Sport Development to join our board. If you hold a professional accountancy or finance qualification, or you have experience in implementing sport pathways from grassroots to international level, then we would love to hear from you.
Previous board experience, or squash playing experience is not essential and an induction and onboarding process is in place for those joining a board for the first time.
We are particularly open to expressions of interest from candidates who have not previously served in a board role but who can demonstrate the skills and competencies necessary to contribute to Squash Wales’s new strategy that will be launched in late 2025
