Performance Psychologist - Victorian Institute of Sport
In this role you will deliver evidence-based psychological strategies to athletes where mental performance needs have been identified, providing targeted support for those experiencing performance inhibition or impairment. You will develop and build curriculum tailored to each sport's specific needs, ensuring athletes have access to the right tools and strategies to support their performance goals.
Working closely with coaches and support staff, you will play a key role in driving a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to planning, preparation and performance. This includes attending athlete DTEs, contributing to Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and providing timely feedback to ensure psychological strategies are embedded across the program in a connected and meaningful way.
