Physiotherapist - Kent County Cricket Club
The club physiotherapist will work within the Science and Medicine team, being the primary physiotherapist support for the pathway and academy during the winter, this takes place between our two first class grounds (Canterbury and Beckenham).
During the summer the role will adapt to supporting the cover of all cricket for the 2nd XI, this will require travel to home and away fixtures/training.
A significant part of the winter with the academy/pathway is supporting their physical, psychological and performance cricket, needs so that they can thrive during the competitive season. The relationships developed in the winter months are key for the challenging months of competitive cricket and management of injury’s and return to performance.
This is a challenging and extremely exciting role working within performance cricket, with a diverse athlete base, supporting the players and club’s aspirations of a high-performance culture to drive consistent success across all formats of the game.
The Club Physiotherapist will work in partnership with the Science and Medicine team and the wider coaching/support staff to shape a unified team ethos, setting high standards of performance and behaviour.
