The Angling Trust is seeking a part-time Regional Angling Development Officer (located in Yorkshire) to support the delivery of participation programmes delivered and supported by the Angling Trust and partners that are aimed at growing the sport of angling.

The role is part-time, working 22.5 hours (3 days) per week and will involve some evening and weekend work.

What you’ll be doing:

Support the planning, organisation and delivery of interventions and events that provide opportunities for people to get into angling.
Through direct and indirect interventions, increase the number of new anglers and retain existing anglers participating in all disciplines of angling across the counties in Yorkshire.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and partners that can contribute to the delivery of regional angling development plans. This includes licensed coaches, angling clubs, commercial fisheries, local Environment Agency staff, Active Partnerships, the angling trade and other organisations.
