Social Media Executive - Sheffield United Football Club
From idea generation through to production, publishing and performance analysis, the Social Media Executive will play a key role in shaping how Sheffield United is represented across digital platforms. The role is responsible for creating engaging, platform-specific content that captures the story of the Club across the women's and men's teams, community and fan engagement initiatives, and commercial partnership activity.
Working closely with the wider content and marketing teams, the successful candidate will deliver reactive and high-quality coverage across training and matchdays, contribute to campaign planning and execution, and ensure content aligns with the Club's tone and wider strategic objectives. With a strong understanding of social trends and performance metrics, they will approach content creation with both creativity and accountability, contributing to measurable growth and engagement across all channels.
Role Responsibilities:
Plan, capture and publish high-quality and paid social content using engaging mobile-first footage and assets supplied by the wider content team, supported by best-practice, platform optimised social copy.
Act as matchday social media lead on a rotational basis for home and away fixtures, working in collaboration with the social media executive to deliver timely, accurate and engaging live coverage, alongside pre- and post- match content
