Camp Taconic, a 7-week overnight camp in Western Massachusetts is looking for Softball and Baseball Counselors for Summer 2026. Taconic is a traditional, coed camp with 550 campers and 300 staff members. 

This is a great opportunity for youth coaches and collegiate athletes to gain experience and make an impact on the development of young people. At Taconic, our athletics program is dedicated to providing a fun and challenging experience for campers age 7-16. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging drills and practices for campers of all skill levels
• Teach the fundamentals of teamwork and of Softball and Baseball in groups and one-on-one lessons
• Assess campers' abilities to create opportunities for them to participate in competitive games
• Help campers increase their confidence on and off the field
• Live with a group of campers and co-counselors and help to tend to their day-to-day needs
