Based in the Warburton community in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands, the Sports and Recreation Officer will be responsible for delivering structured after-school programs and community-based sporting and recreational activities for children and young people.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to use sport as a tool for community engagement, supporting youth development, increasing school attendance, and promoting positive social outcomes. The Officer will work under established guidelines and routines to implement engaging programs that reflect community needs, foster participation, and support the physical and emotional wellbeing of young people.

The successful candidate will also collaborate with local schools, families, community leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure programs are inclusive, culturally appropriate, and aligned with community priorities.
